Route that allows you to discover by easy walks all the wealth of the Kathmandu Valley: The old Hindu temples and Buddhist stupas, the streets and colorful markets, the green countryside and its inhabitant. Immersion in the local families will let you a good remember as the beautiful scenery of rice fields dominated by the Himalayas.

D 01 Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport, and transfer to your hotel.
D 02 Visit of Patan : Ancient Malla capital with many temples built in remarkable newar architecure. Visit to the camp of Tibetan handicraft of Jawalakhel. On the afternoon, transfer to Bungamati: traditional village, rich in Buddhist and Hindu temples, surrounded by rice fields. * Night at the inhabitant.
Option : on the morning, before Patan : Himalayen Flight of 45 minutes by plane.

D 03 Day of easy walk across the countryside and terraces until Godawari : Rural village. * Night at the inhabitant.
D 04 Return to Kathmandu on the morning to visit Swayambunath (monkey temple): One of the most popular place of Nepal. The stupa dominates the valley of Kathmandu. Back at the hotel. Afternoon in Kathmandu through the lively streets. Visit of Durbar Square: its secular temples, headquarters of the former royal palace, the Kumari house (living goddess). Overnight at hotel.
D 05 Transfer to Banepa. Visit of the temple and short hiking (2h30) to Dhulikhel via Opi. Village in the valley known for its magnificent panorama over Himalaya. Visit of the old center. Overnight at hotel.
D 06 After the survey of the sunrise over the mountains, leaving for 1 morning walk. The path follow the rice fields to reach the stupa of Namobuddha. Visit of the village, and overnight at the * lodge of the monastery. Opportunity to participate to the prayers.
D 07 Short walk (2h00) to Panauti, pleasant village with some old temples. Transfer to Bhaktapur. Newar City preserved and very much alive, classified World Heritage by Unesco. * Night at the inhabitant.
D 08 Transfer to Changu Narayan. Visit of the oldest temple in the valley and hike (5 hours) to Nagarkot. Overnight at hotel.
D 09 From Nagarkot to Jhule. 4h00 hiking on a ridge overlooking the terraced crops. * Lodging in a rustic lodge, homestay.
D 10 From Jhule to Sundarijal. short walk (3h00) in the forest to return in Kathmandu early on the afternoon.
From D 05 to D10, you carry your backpack for your personal efffects or bearer if required
D 11 The morning visit of Pashupatinath: One of the most important places of Hinduism. Ceremonies (cremation) are perpetual. Then visit of Buddha: One of the largest stupas in the world, surrounded by numerous monasteries and Tibetan shops. Free afternoon in the capital.
D 12 Transfert to Kathmandu airport.

Price :

To be in the heart of the nepali life, we can organize journeys by public transport (bus). The development of the stay is more uncertain, sometimes with a few lengths. The price of the stay is less important.
